Pro tools LE 7.1 with Digi 002 rack
I have built what I thought would be the ultimate computer (this was about a year ago) and lately, I am having more then problems. During setup, the firewire connection seems to be sparse, sometimes it will work sometimes it wont. I have purchased a new firewire cable, and a new pci card instead of using the onboard. Once (if ever) I do actually get pro tools to open, recording speeds are beyond slow, and I get error message all the time. I have all the setting in the playback engine as low as possible but still no response. Somebody please help, I am about to give up, even with all the time and money vested.
