End of song pop
Hi, I{ve read this problem lots of times but I haven´t read a real solution to it yet! After I bounce to disk the final version of my song, it contains an audible pop at the end of it (before it ends)and that also translates to a burned cd.
Everyone suggested lowering the volume at the end of every track in Pro Tools, which I did... but it has not solved it. Does anyone know a fix?

Re: End of song pop
This may be an obvious answer, but have u put a fade at the end of your region(s)?

Re: End of song pop
Increase the buffer size before bouncing. Also, I used to get the pop with ver 5.0.1 and since upgrading to 5.1 I haven't seen it.

Re: End of song pop
BCbud, thanx for your answer, but yes I put a fade at the end of the last region of every track and also a fade on the master fader.

Re: End of song pop
I have this problem too, versio 5.0.1. Seems to me at one time I figured out that it only happened when I did "convert after bounce" or "convert while bouncing". In any case, I still get it from time to time, so I usually go into another wave editor, either SoundForge or Wavelab, and check my files, before I consider them finished.

Re: End of song pop
December,
Did you try increasing the buffer size before bounce? |

Re: End of song pop
With the Selector Tool, highlight the desired area of the session before preoceeding with a Bounce To Disk.

Re: End of song pop
Thanks all for trying to help.
Mr Seven: I will try your idea of increassing the buffer tonight, but i´m not shure that´s going to solve it, I´m not having cpu issues yet! Techsupt, thanks Brent but I always highlight the area I want to bounce because if I don´t I could have 30 seconds of empty space at the end of my bounced wav file Maybe it´s something random that happens for unknown reasons.
