Default Marking an end point for scoring and printing

Hello Everyone,

I just moved from PT 7.4 to PT8. Love it. But I've been trying to figure out for the past 3 days how to create an 'end marker' for a song or a midi track. I want to print out the score, but I'm always getting a bunch of extra blank bars at the end which I don't really want to see. Can anyone help me with this...

Thanks

Default Re: Marking an end point for scoring and printing

In preferences, make your keyboard work in classic mode. .

Place the curser at your start point, dial in 10 enter. . Place your curser at you end point dial in 20 hit enter. .

Now, place your curser in your print track, dial in 10 & the decimal point (.) hold shift then dial in 20 & the decimal point (.) , you will now have a selection between those two markers. .

The point of putting the keyboard into classic mode is that you can mark your song out thus;

11= verse 1
12=bridge 1
13=chorus one
21=2nd verse
22=2nd bridge
23=2nd chorus
13=guitar solo
14=drop down
32=3rd bridge
33=3rd chorus

etc etc depending on the arrangement. .

You can now fly around your arrangement by hitting say 21. & your there. .
I use 10 & 20 as start & end points out of habit, you can use any numbers you like.
