Default Help with guitar recording

I recetley had the fast track interface with the pro tools m powered program and when i had that hooked up i had no problem with recording the guitar. I just switched to the m2 interface with ptle8 and when i make a new track to record guitar instead of showing me the waves im recording it keeps showing me a blank window on the editing screen. Its probably something dumb im not doing but im new to this so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yeah i arm it in the mix window first. Its weird if i start from a blank session it doesnt work but if i try it in a session from a teplate it will let me record.

flommer, yeah he didn't like my previous comment. I got a personal e-mail from him.
Hey stonehenge, just looked at that. It might be. I always find it's something simple. That's all I was saying. I speak for myself when I say that because I've done it. I hooted and yelled and then it was oops, my bad. I hope you get it worked out The rock (not that you were hooting and yelling).
