PT/Mbox issue with Amplitube

I just installed the package with Mbox,Amplitube,Tracks so on, and I am getting wild crashes from PT when I preview a preset amp with Amplitude/Audiosuite.It's right down to freeze, quit and your session is gone!No matter the highest settings for DAE memory.This VERY annoying, as for instance the Sansamp plugin(somehow equivalent but no cabinet or miking emulation)is much more stable.I've seen that this case is also an issue with PT6, and that gives me a valuable argument for staying under OS 9.2(unless you OSX freaks convince me about the maze of improvements in this OS).
Any advice ? Thanx to all.

Does this happen only when you are trying to recall a preset? Is it possible the presets are in the wrong folder on your drive/or corrupted?? Coz the plugin work perfect!!

No this happens even when I tweak the knobs and try to to preview the sound,it crashes immediatly.T-Racks is working better.
Maybe the processor's speed is relevant ? G4/400 Mhz.I will buy a G5(ooops, to quick for my low budget).
