Default Blue BlueBird

Hi,
I was wondering if this microphone is good for R&B singers? I was thinking about buying it from
my friends who is willing to sell it to me for $300. What are your reviews on this microphone?

I don't have the Blubird, but I do own a Baby Bottle and a Woodpecker. Blue makes good microphones. That Sound on Sound review is a good read.

For $300, I'd try it out.

I also own this mic, it was the first mic I bought when I got serious about recording and needed a mic that would fit my budget and be versitile. I use it mainly for R & B and rap vocals but have also used it to record accoustic and electric guitar as well as Sax and some african drims. I am ALWAYS pleased with the results considering the price. GO FOR IT! you will not be disappointed. The Kiwi is the next on my list of Blue mics.
