Default Can\'t get sound output from my MBOX

Here is system info:

Intel Pentium 4 2.4z
Window XP (service pack 1 included)
Ram 512
Protools v 5.3.3
Other Sound Card - SOUNDMAX integrated Audio

--I just purchased the MBOX last night and I can't get the audio to output...

Steps:
1. I followed the directions in the manual.
2. Loaded Protools and updated my Mbox Firmware to 20.
3. LED light for USB comes on on the Mbox (I know its working).
4. I updated to the new ASIO driver
5. I opened protools session and it recieves input. (I recorded a guitar track and it painted to the track window. SO I KNOW IT RECORDS).
6. I set the I/O to default on input, output, insert and bus.
7. The track shows volume levels going up and down.
8. The input record track monitors in the headphones and in my mixer output.
9. What really gets me is that the output does not want to make a sound.
10. I've also used other programs like CUBASE and I can get input to record but NO OUTPUT!
11. After this I started fresh. I loaded a factory protools session and I could not get it to output audio.

I thought maybe 2 soundcards might conflict so these are the step after dis-enabling

STEPS AFTER DIS-ENABLING THE SoundMAX CARD.

1. I Open Protools and I get ERROR CODE "SynthCore" Could not initialize audio output.

2. I could not use protools at all.

3. I did not know if having 2 sound cards was a problem. So I re-enabled the SoundMax.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME..

Thanks

I don't know if it's related, but the ASIO driver isn't needed to run PTLE.

Are you sure you have the output of the track you recorded assigned to the outputs on the Mbox? And you have the headphone mixer on the Mbox turned to playback?
