Some plug-ins not showing up

I have installed some additional plug-ins which I own onto a studio's computer while I am working there. The problem is that some of them don't appear in the pull down list of plug-ins when a session is open. The strange thing is that some plugs of certain bundles appear and others don't - for example, of all of the Eventide Anthology 2 bundle plugs I installed, Factory works, but Octavox doesn't appear in the list.

I have a similar problem on my own HD rig with Antares Filter.

I trashed prefs and restarted to no avail. I did not use any installers, I just made a new folder and placed plugs in there from my system into the studio's rig. I did use the installer for Filter on my rig, and it did not work.


The studio's rig is on PT HD 7.3.1 and mine is on 7.2. Both use G5's 2.0 Ghz.


Any ideas?

Well, I used the Eventide installer and it solved that issue. I am still wondering why Antares Filter doesn't show up though. Maybe it isn't compatible anymore? That plug never really got updated by Antares.

I also noticed that Reason stopped showing up in the RTAS plug-in menu. I have Reason 3 installed, and it used to work fine.

Thanks, Chris. That worked for Antares Filter, but not for Reason. I will try reinstalling Reason to see if that works.
