Default Sometimes, just sometimes, T-Racks freakin\' rocks!

Although my better head prevails most of the time and I "master" using C4, L1 out to standalone burner, every once in a while, though it's triggered by no more than a hunch, it's T-racks to the freakin' rescue!

Especially, I find, on any pop/rock or heavy-er rock material...when started with the "Gentle Master Suite" preset, then tweaked using the good 'ol ears, the sonic results can be quite satisfyingly acceptably adoringly FREAKIN' KIC BUTT-IN-STEIN!!! which is a good thing!

Those are my feelings.

I have to agree.
It may not have the flexibility of a C4, but
with some judicious tweaking, T-Racks has made
some good mixes sound beautiful.

An interesting experiment might be to trow up (that's how they say "throw" here in 'OL Bklyn..)the C4 on the master fader, than do a bounce,...open in T-racks, call up the "mastering suite", disable the T-Racks comp., and just use the eq (only really usefull for subtractive I find) and the Limiter and 24 to 16 conversion. I Wonder...
Waves C4 in conjunction with T-racks...coild be the beginning of a new dawn.

That's right folks, different tools for different projects. This is why it's ultimately so silly to pose questions like "What's the best THIS...or the "warmest" THAT...good music/material + talented "talent" and sudddenly that old ART preamp sounds like vintage gold! OK...perhaps that's a stretch...but you get the idea.
Experimentation is the key to excess...er...
success!!!

Since you have them all...

You might want to try comparing the SRC/Dither functions of T-Racks vs. the L1, vs. the HHB.

Go head - trow 'em up.
