Default Different colour for muted Midi notes.

As in the title.
It's a stunningly basic requirement.
Tell me there is an option I haven't l seen.

The lack thereof would be tantamount to painting all the stripes of a zebra-crossing either black or white. ,-)

They... change color... to grey. Which is consistent with the same behavior when you mute Clips (audio or MIDI) in PT. Or in a lot of kinds different apps in general (see "greyed out" as a commonly accepted term) I don't know why they'd change that.

Greyed-out...? Thanks for that, Sherlock. ,-)

Sure, why would you want to change it. Makes sense – make muted notes the same colour as active ones. That'll help.

While we're here, and as you're clearly more enlightened than I am, help me find the muted noted in the attached image. I'm sure you'll find it easy. (They're the grey rectangular blobs – see "midi note" as a commonly accepted term).

AH..... I see. I haven't seen a grey-colored MIDI track in ages, but I do remember that. I suggest just changing the Track color to anything other than grey. Then also make sure you have Default Clip Color Coding set to "Track Color" (or whatever makes sense to you) in the PT Settings.

Or you can click one of the 2 buttons I've circled in the upper-left of the attached image. Those will let you toggle the Note colors. (I forget the exact way they work. It's in the manual).

But the muted notes will be grey, so I suggest using any color other than grey. The two Bb notes in my example are muted, for instance.
