PT 8.0.1.cs2 - Quicktime 7.5.5
Anyone know if its safe to update Quicktime?
Im running PTHD 8.0.1.cs 2 on a PPC G5 dual 2.7 PCIX (Mac OS 10.5.8) and accidentally updated iTunes. Current QT is 7.2.1. Now iTunes needs QT 7.5.5 to work. Am I ok to install that? I searched, but didnt find anything specific. I know back in the day, Quicktime upgrades would ruin a Pro Tools setup. Trying not to experience that. My system runs pretty well, Im still trying to learn all the PT8 features, while finding ways to make music.

no problems here with the last versions of Quicktime
I´m on QT 7.7
