Default VST to RTAS Adapter

i have never used any of the vst plug in cause i have never used previous equipment i have read other post cause about it i just wanna know how user friendly is the whole process and do the plug ins show up under audio suite or what. any info will help

I purchased the fxpansion VST to RTAS Adapter and installed it yesterday for my PT 7 system and everything went very well. The plug ins show up in the "other" category on the inserts but everything was functioning perfectly.
