Default ADAT Bridge I/O upgrade

We've been very patient and would like to hear some progress regarding the upgrade of the many ADAT bridge I/O interfaces to 24 bit. I am using the greatest technology known in the recording world and am limited from realizing the true fidelity of my system because of this dilemma. I won't whine about the 001 users that have a 24 bit lightpipe connection on their interface as you already know this. There are many users who have expressed the need for the upgrade and YOU (digi) have responded in the past saying maybe in July after 001 for Windows was shipping. It's getting pretty close and I'd like some reaffirmation of the statements made a while back.
My 24 Mix+ system is a dream come true now please help that dream become fully realized w/24 bit rez for your ADAT I/O customers.

Thanks for a quick reply

Yes, we are currently on schedule for this upgrade. Barring any unforseen circumstances, we should be announcing the details on this within the next 30 days or so.

Again, thank you for your continued patience.

I really hope this is true. Can we get any more details? What does it mean to be "on schedule"?

Digi,

Will this be a simple firmware update or a trade-in path?

Trust me, I appreciate your enthusiasm. But as I said earlier, the product release and upgrade details have not been finalized, so I don't want to write any checks that I can't cash, so to speak. Barring any unforseen circumstances, we should be announcing the details on this within the next 30 days or so.

BOB,
If this upgrade is reasonably priced it will go along way to improve DIGI's image!!
THIS IS THE BEST NEWS IN A LONG TIME!!!!
but,
24/96 PT mix plus version?? and upgrade(card swap?).
We are all living in fear of this day. Please encourage the powers that be to take it easy on the price to upgrade.

Hi digi

what can i say about this ADAT story....?
It's a shame. I'm currently using a MixPlus
and i'm waiting for this 24bit upgrade way too long. Since we are also dealers for digidesign, i would like to ask you what to tell our clients? Please respond.

Thanks for your time

I am so glad.
I just 2 weeks ago begged them to tell me and they would not. So I cancelled my PT MIX+ order and told them that was the reason.
I hope it in some small way helped
