Default Vanilla vs Chocolate

Hi everyone, we have been provided with upgrade paths, requirements, improvements (many) and lots of answers. However, I have yet to see a comparative chart between PT 11 and PT 11HD. Can we post some of our known facts here for consideration? How will these fine improvements and features be distributed among the product range?

It's still fresh. The bottle was just opened, give it time to breathe.

I imagine in the coming days we'll see a comparison chart, along with a more comprehensive pricing guide to put people's worries at ease.

From what I gathered from the conference, however, a majority of the new features are in the HD version.

Most of the new metering options are HD only (gain reduction, all the various meter styles, etc). Disk Cache, Input Monitoring and VCAs remain HD. PT11 comes with most of the same limitations as PT10 did.

So far I know of

HD only:

- New metering
- Satellite Link

and the older things, like multichannel tracks, Disc Cache, VCAs, HEAT, etc.
