Default UAD Satallite and PT9 Users - Ok?

HD PT9 user here, i'm keen to get into the UAD world, the satallite looks just right to run with my TDM system, can;t seem to find any first hand user stories on whether this is running ok (it seems unsearchable on the duc). can you still use at short adc settings? any crashes or problems?

I've seen on the UAD forum a few PT specific probs but i'm open minded...

UAD plug-ins use the old FXPansion VST-RTAS wrapper!
The wrapper was created in a time when most plug-ins did not have an RTAS version. That was over 5 years ago!! The wrapper has not been updated in years because there is no need for it anymore, except for UAD who has been promising to build a native RTAS plug-in for years.
So how many plug-ins that have not been updated since PT7 do you run in a session?

It's working well here - make sure to update to the latest version (5.9.1).

How many cards do you have in your TDM system? I'm running with 2 cards plus a UAD PCIe card and that works quite well. I add the Satellite for testing purposes sometimes and you still need to run either at higher ADC settings, depending on the plug-in you're using. That Satellite also will only work at 256 buffer and higher, but for mixing purposes this shouldn't be a problem.

Running HD4 plus a process on Magma pe6r4, PT9. All good with large mix session, usually running at 256, pretty much always stick to short delay comp as have had probs on huge sessions.

Can the UAD plugs work under short delay comp or is it just certain plugs? I seem to remember they didn't use to.
