Will iLok key for PT6 work between a PC and a Mac?

I have dual systems, PC with 001 and Mac with MBox. So far, I have been unable to use my Waves and SampleTank plugins on both platforms, as I would have to waste a precious authorization anytime I want to transfer the plugins, which the vendors let you do only 3 times in general.
I am now excited about the new iLok key for PT6, because although it seems like a pain at first glance, it indeed enables you to transfer plugins to whatever machine you're using (as long as it is on PT6). Once the bugs are worked out, in the long run, this seems like the right thing to do.
I was wondering if anyone knows (digi?) whether it will work from a Mac to a PC, and from a 001 to an MBox?

I transfer ilok authorized plugins from mac to PC all the time. no problem... you just have to make sure that your plugs are ilok compatible...
