FS: Pro Tools Perpetual License w/ updates through 2027

Hi All -

I purchased this license and no longer need it. I paid $850, looking for $800. This license has all updates paid through 2027. Save yourself a ton of dough. Please note it takes a couple of days for Avid to transfer the license.

Does Avid or iLok let you transfer the license so soon after you just bought it, or is there some kind of waiting period?

I just read this from iLok! "A license may not be transferred within 90 days of being deposited or from an account that is less than 90 days old."

Is this also true with Pro Tools?
Anyone know anything?

I wouldn't have even though to check that. I'm passing that question on to Avid, hope to hear back soon. I'm hoping that since it's Avid themselves who actually removes & deposits the license from your iLok and it's not the user that perhaps that doesn't apply. If not guess I'm going to have to wait a couple months.

Heard back from Avid and there should be no issue in transferring the license.

Ok thanks npapaleo, that's good news! I am looking to buy a Pro Tools license soon, but I have to say I'm a little nervous about sending that kind of money over the internet to someone I don't know (no offense I guess you just bought this license and it worked out though right. How do you guys handle this kind of transfer? Does Paypal give you some kind of protection, or do you guys just trust each other? Sorry to ask but I'm new here :)

I'm more curious about why you paid for a support plan for 5 years into the future?

You'd have to ask the person I purchased it from a few threads back.
