I want to match track tempos and lengths.
Even though the answer to this question is probably more appropriately answered by that handy 400+ page Pro Tools Reference Guide, I' m computer illiterate... and I unfortunately don't like to read a lot, either.
I would like to adjust new sounds so that they somehow line up in track length, tempo, and pitch, to the beats I have recorded in other tracks. So... (considering the above option is indeed, a possibilty), should I make this change when I am importing new sound files to Pro Tools, or should I go ahead and import those files to new tracks, and proceed from there? One more thing, I am not using MIDI sound, only sound files from the web. Thank you so much!!! |
