HDX VS 3rd party hardware (software difference?)
What is the software difference in HD 11 when using an HDX card versus using a third party interface without an HDX or HDN card?

The HDX card has processing horsepower on it. Without the card, you will be operating in native mode, where the cpu does all the work. You will also likely have more latency at any given buffer setting(but it will work). I run HD software with a DIGI003 here(on firewire)
 . HDN card has no processing power, but allows you to use HD IO boxes and allows 64 inputs(3rd party IO will only allow 32 inputs).
