new mac and digi 002
ok i just purchased a new imac yesterday and it has the 10.8.4 most recent update. i have protools 7.3 and a digi 002 i have been using on pc for years now. i have read and read and really seem to have no way around to use my gear or software. is there anyway of getting the digi002 drivers to work with out having to buy protools 10 for 700 dollars. please help and thank you!

You should be able to find a second-hand PT10 asset for around $300. Since PT9, the software now works with almost ANY interface(from any company) so you could sell the 002 and move into a better(sonically) interface

thats the thing tho, i really like my digi002 and dont want to part ways. really just want to find a way around this. i heard protools 10 or express will work

plus there isnt many hand on consoles anymore and the new avid gear doesnt have a console like the 002 or 003
