Truely excellent mix. Very clean and open.
Thanx!

I especially like the lead guitar tone, and the organ sound.
All the guitars are Amp Farm or SansAmp plug-ins...
Organ? I can´t remember an organ in that song... what do you think is an organ?

Im coming from the Digi 001 Windows corner.. Heres something I just recently did. Recorded it in like 2 hours and then did a quick mix of it. You guys can listen below.
I played drums, mixed and engineered.
BTW: nothing was touched up...
Digi 001, two hours and a quick mix?
Wow, amazing! GREAT job!

Here are a few questions I answered about the song

Where was that recorded?

This was recorded on my Digi 001 system in my room, Of course bypassing about everything in it.

How were the drums mic'd?

Drums were mic'd as follows:

OH: 2 Baby Bue Bottles > Avalon AD 2022 > Cranesong HEDD 192 > Digi 001
HiHat: Rode NT1000 > Presonus Digimax > RME AD-I AE
Snare: Beta 57a > Presonus Digimax > RME AD-I AE
Tom 1: Beta 57a > Presonus Digimax > RME AD-I AE
Tom 2: Beta 57a > Presonus Digimax > RME AD-I AE
Tom 3: Rode NT1000 > Presonus Digimax > RME AD-I AE
Kick: AKG D112 > Presonus Digimax > RME AD-I AE
Kick out: Groove Tubes > Presonus Digimax > RME AD-I AE
Room: Neumann U87 Ai > Presonus Digimax > RME AD-I AE

What Vocal mic?

Neumann U87 Ai > Avalon AD 2022 > Cranesong HEDD 192 > Digi 001

What acoustic gtr mic?

Neumann U87 Ai > Avalon AD 2022 > Cranesong HEDD 192 > Digi 001

dwdrummer,

excellent song, I think the lead vocal got too much effect, particulary too much delay (may be you can try to high cut the delay return, but the track don't need delay at all imho).

An excellent song is always better than an excellent sound (having the 2 is awesome hehe)

Thanks alot!

Yea, like i said...It is a rough mix. I also think that the delay needs to come down. The bass is fake so we need to to a real bass track and then once thats done, we can start really mixing the song.

But thank you for you comments!
