i found a trick if u use reason...if u put a mixer into a combinator and send the combinator out to its own chanel in protools u can have tons of tracks.this is good if u use reason to create and sequence and protools to mix...thats 14 tracks per combinator which means 48x14= 672 all u need is another daw that supports rewire in protools if u find the 48 not enough. live is another u can use so instead of spending 1000+ on the expansion why not just spend 500-600 on reason or live and expand and have the options that come with the daw this just make the dv tool kit worthless to me really really over priced anything between 50-120 would be reasonable i dont really want the bundled things included in the dv toolkit i can do without they should sell track expansion separate digidesign should really rethink their pricing and bundles seems like everything they make another company makes a better version and is a lot cheaper
