Why trash preferences and what
On several occasions I´ve seen people here give the advice that one should thrash the preferences folder and the digidesign databases folders with the wierd volume document. My questions are:
Why thrash preferences and sholud I thrash my whole preferences folder? Just out of curiosity what is the volume document? My system is telling me that the application Pro Tools has unexpectedly quit all the time. Im running PT 6.1.2 on Jaguar 10.2. Old Mac G4 400 Mhz processor 1024 Mb SDRAM
