Default Windows/Mac - RME Baby Face and ProTools ?

So, I'm looking into a few upgrades and come across the RME Babyface 22 Channel 192khz buspowered device.

I'm still researching this product but have heard great things about this.

I currently have a Mac mini running pro 10 and using a 3rd gen mbox pro as preamp, etc. my reason for this question is I was looking into a preamp that I would then route into the mbox and was thinking possible the RME would operate the same way?
-
Has anyone utilized this or have any information on this?
