Just passed my PT 101 exam...I actually do know something!
Wow, I've been a newbie for like 5 years (far too long) so I decided to take a PT 101 course, and I passed the exam today! Turns out that I knew more than I thought I knew. I guess reading that PT 101 version 8 book over and over paid off. I'm looking forward to taking the 110 course. Too bad I don't know anyone in the biz anymore, my current set of friends probably don't even know what pro tools is, but I had to tell someone!

You are now obligated to come here and help at least 5 people per day.

Re: Just passed my PT 101 exam...I actually do know something!
Sweet!
Congrats! I still remember my first experience with Pro Tools back in 2001. I used to spend more time on the phone with tech support then actually recording! lol... Then in 2004 when Disc Makers told me the Album that I recorded and Mastered for a client was great and they didn't have to touch it, I felt like I passed a course LOL!!! The course of hands on with real clients breathing over my neck for 3 weeks to get their album done!!! lol... Funny thing back then I did mostly everything by ear! Frequencies and bits were still a little blurry, but I had T-Racks mastering suite and that was AWESOME! lol...!!! Anyway!, Congrats again and good luck with your Pro Tools adventures Master! |

LOL...I heard he had to have an engine rebuild due to old age and a hard life, and I think he's running a new computer now too which enables invisibility....I guess that's why no one sees him anymore!
Congrats on passing the course, now go and make some noise.
