Default Just passed my PT 101 exam...I actually do know something!

Wow, I've been a newbie for like 5 years (far too long) so I decided to take a PT 101 course, and I passed the exam today! Turns out that I knew more than I thought I knew. I guess reading that PT 101 version 8 book over and over paid off. I'm looking forward to taking the 110 course. Too bad I don't know anyone in the biz anymore, my current set of friends probably don't even know what pro tools is, but I had to tell someone!

Sweet!
Congrats!

I still remember my first experience with Pro Tools back in 2001. I used to spend more time on the phone with tech support then actually recording! lol...

Then in 2004 when Disc Makers told me the Album that I recorded and Mastered for a client was great and they didn't have to touch it, I felt like I passed a course LOL!!!
The course of hands on with real clients breathing over my neck for 3 weeks to get their album done!!! lol...
Funny thing back then I did mostly everything by ear! Frequencies and bits were still a little blurry, but I had T-Racks mastering suite and that was AWESOME! lol...!!!

Anyway!, Congrats again and good luck with your Pro Tools adventures Master!

LOL...I heard he had to have an engine rebuild due to old age and a hard life, and I think he's running a new computer now too which enables invisibility....I guess that's why no one sees him anymore!

Congrats on passing the course, now go and make some noise.
