Learn this lesson about Multimono Plugins
Even though the "linked" button on some plugins is engaged in multi mono format, one must still make sure to adjust parameters in both left and right channels as some parameters are not linked. I encountered this early on with especially waves IRL reverbs, etc. I always check to make sure adjustments to one side change the other as well in linked mode, until this one time recently when I forgot and sent off a mix of a song to the artist with an obvious disparity between left and right channels which I failed to notice because I was in a hurry.
