Default Sesion Lost HELP!!!!!!

I recorded a session last night saved it. then my system crashed (not unusual, my sys does that often)When i went to access the file today, It loaded but it appears as if there are no tracks or regions in the session. All the Audio files are there but no session to access.

in my session file a -pt5.rsr- file has appeared. What is that? and can it help me retrieve my session in it original form.

It is highly important i retrieve this file, It was for an important client and due at the end of the week. Somebody please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

if the audio files are still in the "audio" folder then just import the media back into the session. Which means you might have to re-create the session, if it's not salvable. I think the important thing is that you still have the audio files.

It was a huge file, that would take forever. Any Ideas how to salvage the session as it existed before.

Just go into your session backups folder and open one of the more recent sessions in there.

If you weren't scheduling auto backups, then you're pretty much down to trying to re-import and re-create your session. You could try starting a brand new session and importing the tracks (different than importing the audio) but since your session seems to have empty tracks, I doubt that would work for you.
