Logic crashing/unstable when using 002 interface

I have a brand new mac book pro with logic 9, snow leopard and pt 8. my 002 goes firewire 400 into a lacie hd. and the lacie goes firwire 800 into mbp. logic is unstable. any suggestion beside waiting for digi to release a solid update for snowleopard. pt 8 works ok with this set up, with a few bugs reported in other threads such as sample rate being stuck at 48kHz. another bug i found is when u bounce to mp3, u cant copy the text to name the file type, mildly annoying.

note. logic is 100 % stable when i dont use digi 002 as interface and use a usb keyboard and usb portable alesis monitors

funny i'm on a mac pro and use logic all the time with a digi002. i thought about updating to snow leopard and read up about it the last hour or so. i saw a lot of comments about stability issues in forums. i'm going to wait awhile myself till i update. i screwed that one up already when i updated awhile back in leopard and tiger and was locked out for a month or two getting everything back to normal :P
