how do i quantize in 6/8?
i have been sitting struggling with a drumbeat that i have been doing, i know that groove quantize won't work with it, because the templates are geared towards funky beats. i have tried so many of the different options , yet they still screw the beat up making it sound not like the original performance. does anyone have an idea? please let me know. thank you

Re: how do i quantize in 6/8?
Click on quantize and check the Tuplet box, 3 in the time of 2. That should do it. Whatever your smallest note value is in the pattern, set the quantize to that value. Also, make sure your really in 6/8 meter and not a swing 4/4 Peace

Or you could use 16th with say a 125% swing. Yes, make sure you meter is actualy set to 6/8.
