PTHD 12.6.1 issues
I've been having issues with using some audio suite plugins on 12.6.1 that weren't there yesterday when I was using 12.6.
With iZotope Dialogue DeNoise, if I loop more than one region to render, Pro Tools crashes. I've been hearing similar issues with Kazrog KClip in PTHD 12.6.1 on Mavericks. De-Crackle was working fine. I think Avid needs some more beta testers... AD |

Yup! I have it here as well. This is a major pain. I use RX all the time.

Re: PTHD 12.6.1 issues
Here too. This is what I wrote to another thread:
I can reproduce this with RX5A de-noise audiosuite. If you try to render lots of clips, PT will crash. .... It seems that this is happening with all audiosuite plugins, even with Avid's EQ3 7. If you have multiple clips selected (I'm testing a one 20 min audio track), PT will always crash during render process. PT doesn't crash if you choose create continous files, but with create individual files crash comes every time. http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=386804&page=2 |

Re: PTHD 12.6.1 issues
I didn't see this problem during a week of editing in 12.6.1, but that may be because of my particular habits and workflow. I just reinstalled 12.6.1 and thought to try this out. I only have trouble when more than two different source files are being accessed in one operation. Multiple regions that only access two files seem to work perfectly here, no matter how many clips or how long the total length is. Once 3 or more source files are included, the following error usually appears.
"Could not complete your request because Access violation occurred, unable to read location: 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF." It is not a PT crash, the error can be dismissed without harm.

Crash may happen only with Sierra? Are you on 10.10.5?

Re: PTHD 12.6.1 issues
Yes, it's easy to do accidentally.
I'm looking forward to getting back on my Mac system on Friday, will install 12.6.1 to see if the problem exists on Yosemite.

PTHD 12.6.1 issues
Postman, so it is not present in Win7?
I've got Win10 loaded presently and I will give it a shot.
