Maybe they released it too soon or something?

Dear Frode,

Thank you for contacting the Avid Support. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Pro Tools 11.3.2 is not officially released.

Also, I won't be able to provide you with an ETA for this matter. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Kind regards, Avid Customer Care | Audio
Thanks for posting this as it's the first 'official' word from Avid we've gotten on this.

That is possible. I have heard from at least one person that this update wasn't expected for some weeks yet. But that doesn't excuse Avid from not coming on here and posting about this.

Agreed!!!

Avid should have said something right away, instead of letting their customers get more and more pissed off with each updateless day.

Still doesn't explain why it's in everyone's PT 12 download account

Will add this to the wrinkle. I have 12HD. I have the 11.3.2 installer in my account. Tried to update 11.3.1 last night and it didn't install. After restart and retry - same behavior. PT 11.3.1 stayed at 11.3.1. Seems even though it's "available" to some… not quite ready for prime time. Can anyone confirm they've been able to update?

Haha. A Phoney upgrade!

I'll bet PT 12 is really 11.3.1 with a different splash screen.

What OSX version? The update may not be compatible with the latest Yosemite.
Are you running as admin?
Do you have sandboxing turned off?

Exactly why I posted it here. I thought maybe no one had thought to ask.

As I said, I´m guessing they released it by mistake. If they had yanked it I would guess the ****storm might have been even bigger.

I absolutely agree that they should have come down from the mountain to explain what is going in.

I don't think 11 owners will ever get 11.3.2. I think we'll jump to 11.3.3. The clue was given by Kyle saying that Eucon 3.3 is "compatible with 11.3.2+". The "+" is the important bit worth noting, as it reveals that 11.3.2 isn't the last version.

That's one interpretation but I'd take it to mean any PT version whether PT11, 12 or whatever version after 11.3.2
