Old Plug-Ins with OS Tiger 10.4 /PTLE 6.8?

I need some help here,
I've been using PTLE since 2001, Power Mac G4 with OS 9.2.2/PTLE 5.2 digi001 in it. I love may set-up I never had to upgraded because its works excellent for my purposes. It runs flawless it never crash . I have a lot of plug-ins and I want to buy a new Powerbook G4 with a Mbox2(I was waiting for the MIDI), my question is: if this old plug-ins that I use on PTLE 5.2 would work with OS Tiger 10.4/PTLE 6.8.1. I have thousands of $$$$$ on them and I don't want to waste them .

The short answer is no, you won't be able to run your legacy plug-ins on your new system, unless you go thru the upgrade process. Assuming you own these plug-ins and have legitimate registrations, the upgrade process may be a little pricey, but it is possible. Good luck.

Is there a way to run OS 9.2.2/PTLE 5.2 Classic enviorement on OS 10.4.

No, you can't run PT within the classic environment. If you want to step up to a more current system, it's going to cost you a little to update your system. That's just a fact of life at this point.

I'd also remind you that running PT version 6.9.2 is a HUGE improvement over 5.2. There are a ton of new features in the new software and even more on the way for 7.0.

Does the Mbox would run on PTLE 5.2? I'm not musician. My old set up works awsome but it looks like I need to upgrade anyway.
