Creamware A16 Ultra?
I'm running a HD3 accel-system.
Looking for something to expand my in/outs. Anybody used the Creamware A16 Ultra? 16 AD/DA 24/96, BNC WC in/out I was heading for an Alesis AI3, when I found out about this one. With current pricing it seems to be a bargain... Hakan, Sweden +46-(0)31-69 00 17

Re: Creamware A16 Ultra?
Hi, I have both the A16 Ultra and the AI3, I use both of them as analog I/O attached to Digi ADAT box. Both sound fine and both are 24 Bit. The Ai6 Ultra also supports 96K if you set it to dual channel mode but this doesnt work with the Digi boxes.
If you can get the A16 Ultra cheap I'd go for it. It works fine and is probably the only 16 channel ADAT-Analog box around at a good price. K |
