Default ProTools 5.x vs. Pro Tools LE?

Wich are the bigest differences in practice? Of course there's a big difference in track count but...How about editing and mixing facilities? Wich "amazing plugins" do we have to forget about if we use the LE version? Can a proffessional work with LE?
Thank's

No Amp Farm for LE, but Amplitude from IK is coming soon.
No Echo Farm for LE.
No Beat Detective for LE, but you still have "Tab to Transient" which is very useful for editing drums.
PT|HD gives you 128 tracks at 44.1/48k, a MIX system gives you 64 tracks, and LE gives you 24 tracks of playback.

You can do pro work on LE, although you have to be a bit more creative to get around the 24 track limit.

The transient is the (usually) initial part of a sound. It's most frequently the 'spike' or loudest part of the waveform. Think of what a snare hit looks like in wave form. The transient is the peak where the hit begins or peaks. Tab to transient simple jumps to each sucessive transient each time press the 'tab' button having selected a track/region.

No time-stretch implementation with the resize tool in LE. Cruel, digi, cruel.

No SMPTE support in LE. Makes LE unable to compete with MOTU DP for scoring jobs, even though they are in the same price practical price range. A shame.
