C24 finally \'dead\' as well
So like many of you, my c24 died as wel. No fader movements, peak lights stay on 100% of the time etc. So I assume I need to replace the power supply, an have contacted digi about this.
Do any of you know how much it'll cost ? How long does this take ? should I scedule a whole day for it or is it quicker ? thanks already for your help guys -charles deenen |

Re: C24 finally \'dead\' as well
Charles,
Should be for free as it is a known fault. Either they will send you the new supply and capacitors to fit on the 3 fader boards (would need good skills with a soldering iron and the confidence to take ribbon cables off & on, ie electonic assembly skills) or you can send it back for Digi to repair. If you bought the C24 from a good retailer they should also help and possibly give you a replacement C24. Of course you have registered the C24 so Digi will have you on the record. From my own experience and what I have read on the DUC, Digi tech support are very good and will get you going ASAP. Good luck Scotsman |
