Default Midi track to Audio

I've never used ProTools with MIDI because I always preferred Cubase, but after version 6.4 I decided to try it out...
I have created 2 tracks, 1 midi and 1 Aux, I load my virtual instruments on one of the Aux inserts and I hear what I play.
I record the midi part, but then how do I record that midi part in audio?
Thanks guys!

put the out of your aux in a bus, say 4,5, open a new
audio track and in the input put that same bus 4,5,
put record in your new audio track and that´s it.
cheers

Thanks Yoko for the reply!
I already tried that, and I get the sound only when I push space, and then I don't hear anything.
So I bounced to disk, and it works.
I don't understand why I don't hear anything when I do the first thing!!!

cheers Kd, when you are in audio track recording
you must select input only monitor when in recording mode,
in the menu ontop of your session, you have
the operation option, look inthere and you'll see
there's auto input monitor or input only monitor,
beside other things, hope this help,
have a nice recording.

Perfect! Now it works
I would like to ask you another question if you don't mind...
I need to buy an external hard drive and I was thinking to get the LaCie d2 Hard Drive Extreme with Triple Interface 250GB (http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10025) or the G-Drive 250GB FW800 (http://www.g-technology.com/Products/G-DRIVE.cfm).
I can't decide because usually the forum or the websites talk about Pro Video use, and never Pro Audio.
What do you think?

LaCie drives have a pretty good rep around here. Haven't seen much about the G-Tech drives though. Alot of people on this forum have also had good success with the OWC and Transintl drives.

Hope this helps!
