Default Getting rid of Avid plug-ins

Hello-

I just upgraded to 12.4HD and when I move the Avid plug ins like Maxim, DVerb, Bomb Factory Plugs etc. into the Plug-ins (Unused) folder, once I start ProTools they are re-copied to the active Plug in folder. How do I move these plug-ins. Don't want the clutter...

Thanks.

From your other posts it looks like you are on a Mac. Not recommending this but one could... Show Package Contents on the Pro Tools application and delete individual "core" plug-ins.

And you'll need to remember to do this after each update to PT. Not huge deal I suppose.

It makes Pro Tools "self healing". Software people seem to like this sort of thing.

It makes searching plug-ins 'overwhelming' when there is a lot of choices.

Search the manual and learn how to make "Favorites" in the plugin list.

may i respectfully ask what the issue is with having the Avid Plugins installed ?? just ignore them .. set your Plugin View as Category and Manufacturer ..

just .02 ..
