Default PT 8.0.3cs2 and Redline Reverb not playing nice...

Anyone else have any issues with PT 8.0.3cs2 and Redline Reverb??

I've had a couple of incidents errors popping up after tracking for a few hours (9060 and 6031 if I remember correct), freezing the whole system. Noticed after rebooting the system that the Redline Reverb is corrupted and won't load. First time it happened I reloaded the Redline and things went great for a few hours (just enough time to get drum tracks done!!! ) then thing went haywire again.

I just eliminated that plug from my sessions now and everything seems to be running fine. Still have to check if I've got the latest version of the plug, etc. but I figured I'd throw it out there. (didn't have any issues using the Redline with 7.4cs10 btw...)

Anyone think it might be something simple like a denormalization issue? I never did toss a dither before it or anything, going to wait til I'm done with these sessions before experimenting since everything is working now!! (I hate crashes in the middle of sessions!!!! LOL!!)

I would ask this at Redline too. I had a demo version that crashed my rig way before the demo period expired.

Albee, what PT version were you running when you had a crash?

I did just notice the version number on thier reverb is 1.0.3, the version I have installed is 1.0.1......
I think I will shoot 'em an e-mail, see if their aware of any problems.

Heard back from 112dB and they said they were not aware of any problems but they would like to hear from anyone that has had any.

One of their companies main programmers has recently passed away and they are trying to find someone to replace him. I was told the other programmers are midst of another project but they will try to get back to me in the next couple of weeks.

Sorry I don't remember the version. After removing it and my system coming back to life, I just deleted it. This was a good 6 months ago or more.

Albee, do you remember if you tried with ProTools 8 (or 9)? Like I said I had no problems with the reverb and 7.4.

I ran the demo version on PT8. It sounded great for a week but then screwed up my rig so PT would not open. As soon as I uninstalled it, the computer went back to working fine.
