Going back to 8.0.3, How?
I downloaded and installed PT v8.04. I'm having issues with Audio Suite plugins and I'd like to go back to v8.0.3. What's the best way to do this?
Thank you, Mark |

U really should've had an image or clone before u upgraded but, I guess thatz neither here nor there @ this point; jus uninstall everything & reinstall what u want; thatz all u can do...

FYI - Izotope was causing some issues for general Audiosuite in 8.0.4 but have since offered their fixed versions:

And they do, in fact, work correctly so there is no need to go back to 8.0.3.

Lownotesinc: I can attest to that Izotope has fixed the AS problems. Anuy other plugs you are having trouble with?

Quote:
1. Pull clone from closet. 2. Boot from clone. 3. Launch Carbon Copy Cloner and revert to 8.0.3. I clone after every 'good' update - after the CPU has been up a couple of months and everything checks out solid. (or at least less broken the version before).
