Default Internet on the protools workstation ...

Hi everyone,
until now, i was always timorous to install internet on the same mac where is my protools system.
But, actually, it will be for me faster to install it in order to manage better web send.
Then, would it be careful to not install internet - i am on mac - ?
I am afraid about virus, to loose datas from my hard disks and to make unstable my protools workstation.
Or are there really not problems ?
Best regards,
Julien A.

If you are on a Mac it's safe.
If you are on Windows... buy a Mac!

It's paranoid to think that the internet can mess with our Macs or hat tcp/ip messes with pro tools.

Sure, when we had 32 mb's of RAM on our Quadras with their hopping 400mb hard drives it might have been a problem but I FREQUENTLY surf the internet WHILE tracking and recording on my trusted 867mhz G4 running os9. never a problem ever.

Just go for it... My Mac is always on line and I never had a problem (more than 5 years).

He was thinking as in you should write your high school teacher...

Just kidding, bro.

For years, when I read the word "awry", I used to think it sounded like "Aww-ree". I think I even said it a few times...

Cheers
