Default Upgrade Hell!

I have the Euphonix Artist series (Mix, Control, Transport connected to an Ethernet router) They were working fine with my mac pro running mountain lion and Eucon 3.13 With Cubase 8.0.10
and Pro Tools.

When I upgraded Cubase to 8.0.30, it required to upgrade Eucon to 3.31. Now the controllers are not recognized by the Eucon Software, let alone PT and Cubase
I have tried the following steps to no avail:
-tried reinstalling Eucon software (many times)
-trashed prefs
-tried many ip addresses
-upgraded to Yosemite
-connected Mix controller directly to mac ethernet port
-bought a usb-ethernet adaptor
-upgraded to 3.3.2 Eucon software

Any insight would be most appreciated!!!
Thanks
Matt

Tried 3.3.2 on a Macbook Pro running El Capitan. Eucontrol still does not see the controllers.

Hi

Had the same issues as I upgraded to Cubase from Cubase v 8.0.20 to v 8.0.30.
With my equipment it seems, that the Ethernet Adapter is just addressed by the OS later that the EuControl Software starts - that confuses the link on the Ethernet adressing on the Artists.

Solution on my Equipment was, to start the EuControl manually after starting up the PC - not as per default as it is started within the "Startup Folder" automatically. (Im on PC!)

Probably this helps you.....

Cheers

Thanks ALSTUDIOS for responding! Unfortunately, it didn't work for me.
I noticed on my ethernet router, that I'm getting yellow lights representing the 3 controllers. I'm assuming they should be green? Could this mean that something is wrong with the controllers itself?

Hi

My LED's on the switch are green
(Don't think, the colour means something...)

I just notice, that they are flickering in use - probably representing the datatransfer...

Sorry to say, but at that point a hardcore IT-specialist is requested...not a musician.

Cheers

Generally, the different color means 100 mb when the rest of your devices or computer is 1000 mb (1Gb).. not anything to be concerned about
