Global Volume Control Boosts for USB Out to DAW?
Is there a way to change the volume, so to speak, of the Rig to DAW via USB connectivity and functionality that isn't part of the Rig or the volume control knob. I know I can control the monitors easy enough. I'm talking about what Pro Tools recognizes as the Input Level.
In case you're wondering "Why?", simply to catch tones at lower output before the guitars, preamps, speaker sims, speaker break-up, etc, etc, all get their hands on it and color things back up. and yes, I could turn it up post tracking, but there's only so much of that before losing dynamics. My previous guitar processor had something called USB Level Out and was a relational setting. Kind of similar in theory to bumping up the levels for the headphones, except not an analog thing. |

Re: Global Volume Control Boosts for USB Out to DAW?
bump for exposure and hopefully an answer.
So, does the lack of response indicate to me there there is not a way to boost signal going into PT via USB without changing Ridg settings or anything else that might have an effect on speaker break-up or tone dynamics? Thanks in advance for any responses. |
