identical waveforms look larger on different track

Is it only in 7.3? I have duplicate waveforms or even other waveforms on different tracks and one waveform will be larger in height than the other even though they are both set to medium track height. No matter what I do they are different looking even if the track is a duplicate. I do not get it. It makes lining things up very time consuming. What gives?

I have only used 7.3 on Mac, but if I hold down the alt key while scrolling left/right on the mouse (not up/down, that's for zoom) it changes the size of the waveform. I think that affects ALL tracks though...
