Trigger Multiple Midi Apps with one keystroke
This might be dumb, but last night when messing with MOTU symphony, discovered how to add multiple instruments for output on single MIDI Track. In other words, within MOTU open Bongos and Bass drumm, then when it triggers both when I hit keys on controller. Now, that is all within the app, but it got me thinking. Say I wanted to trigger a sound out of MOTU and Sample Tank or Reason concurrently with one playing of the note. Could this be done. Any ideas?

My understanding of it is that you will have to create a separate Instrument or MIDI / AUX track for each Virtual Instrument, making sure your routing is correct and separate for each Virtual Instrument. Option click record arm. This combines all tracks simultaneously with one key stroke. I do this in Reason and Moog Modular all the time and have no problems. filosofem
