Default Loop Playback

Hi guys

I am having trouble with getting the loop playback to work in PTLE. When I check the Loop Playback in the Operations menu, I can see the loop playback icon around the play button in the transport window but there is no playback at the end of the song.

Please help !

did you highlight a selection to playback. It will only loop whatever you highlight with your cursor tool. If you just hit play it will play forever and ever..
is that what you are trying to do??

Thanks for the reply. I tried highlighting as you suggested but still no cigar. Any other clues.

Regards

try selecting a region using the transport. you can type in the start time/measure, the end, or just put in the length. and by the way, if you hit no.4 on the numeric keypad, that will also put it in loop playback mode, you won't have to touch the mouse.

Also make sure you have the "link edit and timeline selections" button selected. It is located in the upper left hand corner of you edit screen just below your shuffle, spot, grid, and slip mode buttons
