Default new macbookpro?

I recently cheched the news, and really don't know what to do. Buy a nice macbookpro now, or wait a month for the new series? What would be wiser to do?

Hi Tamas,

I think this is the same old question over and over again. But I'd say: if you need a new computer now, go for the MBP. It's a great machine and it works with PT. If you don't need it urgently, you could wait, as there seems to be something new coming in autumn (according to all the rumors). But keep in mind: with a new product, there could be new issues and it could take some time to get qualified by Digi.

What until Oct.... and the price will drop.
New Macs come out then and they will lower the price on current macs.

OR, Wait until Oct. and get the newest.

If you need to use PT get the current one. I had a real bad time with a new Macbook/Leopard/Pro Tools. Over six months just to get PT working
