Default bulletin board bug

Dear Webmaster:

For the second time in as many days, the DUC has been dropping my messages and giving me a blank screen when I seek to look at a response to my new posting, "missing simple feature from PT". Other people's postings appear to be alright generally, so the problem is obviously intermittent. Either that or the CIA has singled me out for subversive postings. It's just really a drag to lose someone's valuable feedback when one is seeking the holy grail of continuous quality improvement. The last time this happened, the postings were gone forever, apparently my original post and the follow up was destroyed.

I saw this as well in a few different forums. It would just load a blank page. Then the next day, I'd check that same post, and it would be fine. I remember specifically the "PayPal, what could go wrong" thread doing this in the Buy and Sell forum.

I thought is was just me.

Dear Webmaster:

I found that when I went to another computer (a dial up notebook PC), I was able to see "missing simple feature in PT" and the responses; however from my own DSL PC setup, I am unable to view any part of the thread "Missing simple feature in PT". I initiated the thread from the DSL machine; now the DSL system is "immune" and unable to see anything on that thread but a blank screen! most peculiar.

Dear Webmaster --

Now when I attempt to view the thread "missing simple feature in PT", my Netscape 4.7 crashes! Consistently! Otherwise I am able to access the DUC fine. The general protection fault details on my Windows 98 machine were as follows

Netscape caused a general protection fault in module GDI.EXE at 0027:000005de.

We participants at the DUC are fanatical detail freaks. So I hope you can use this because in the time it took to copy this code painstakingly, by hand, I could have been contemplating my navel. And that was a serious loss.
