Tascam FW-1884 not working on PT 10.1.1

I just acquired a tascam fw-1884 filthy cheap that's fully functional...it came with 3 extra eight fader banks (which I havn't even hooked up yet to save some confusion). Since I scored it so cheap I wanted to upgrade to PT10 so I sold my 002 and decided I would use the Tascam as my interface and my control surface.

I installed the driver from the Tascam site (the windows 7). Then I installed PT10, then the PT 10.updates. When I load up PT, all my plugins load, but it stalls at the very end and says I need to select my asio device. So far, I havn't been able to find the asio driver accompanying the Tascam fw1884 drivers.

I'm running an Intel I7 3.4quadcore w/16gigs of Corsair ddr3.

Is it looking like I'm going to have to break down and purchase a separate interface and just use the tascam's HUI emulation as a control surface? I scored the 32 channels for $350 and made sure it worked before i snaked it up.
