Default Problem with mp3 and wav files

Hi
When I bounce to either mp3 or wav files everything looks ok but I can't play the files or burn them to a CD. I have done this before in other sessions without problems and I don't think I've changed anything.
I can also still play the mp3s which I've bounced from other projects.

Also after the bounce Pro Tools shuts down by itself??? Can anyone please help me with this? I'm going nuts here!!!!

Any ideas anyone?
Thanks
Andy
