PT11 - Out of CPU power (Please help!)
Hey guys. And forgive my English is not always perfect.
I just purchased PT11. Current version 11.3.2. My sessions is not even that big but still I run out of CPU and I get cracks etc. I'm on 1024 buffer size of course. Computer: Mac Pro 5,1. 24gb RAM. Quadcore(Westmere) 2,8ghz. Interface: Behringer FCA1616. (I know it's not the best but I'm currently just testing) Before I was using PT10 HD with Accel cards and I run this session without any problems (But of course I had some TDM plugins on AUX channels). So what's the problem here? Is it because of the poor audio interface? Or do I really need to update my processor or RAM? I beg you to help me asap. Thanks in advance.. |
